JVC adopted DiMeNsion processors for their market-leading features and product flexibility, which allowed JVC to deliver a variety of products, such as standalone DVD recorders, combination VHS/DVD recorders, and combination hard disk drive (HDD)/DVD recorders. The products are expected to be available in Europe (DR-M1 and DR-MV1) and Japan (DR-MF1 and DR-MH5). Based on the flexible LSI Logic DoMiNoTMarchitecture, the DiMeNsion family is comprised of the industry's first single-chip DVD recorder system processors that reduce cost, design complexity, and time-to-market through its high level of system integration, and delivers a rich feature-set and high-quality video.
