LG Electronics has launched the RH200MH, a Hard Disk Drive DVD recorder.

With all the latest features, including built in hard drive, time-shifting features and super-multi recorder, the RH200MH means the busy consumer can do almost everything for TV viewing with one simple, small, sleek machine – it’s the answer to scheduling clashes across the nation.

One of the easiest to use DVD products to hit the market this year, the RH200MH is the perfect solution for consumers in the modern busy world, as there is no need to read a complicated manual or wire up multiple devices. The RH200MH provides users with an effortless and straightforward multifunctional device which delivers an easy to navigate interface.

The RH200MH has features which raise it head and shoulders above the competition; its multiple functions mean users can not only watch, edit, record and store television content but also, with the 250Gb hard drive and dual layer recording system, users can record the equivalent of up to 170 films or 230 football matches. So there will never be any excuse for missing your favourite TV shows or films and no more arguments over what programme to watch. For long term storage, programmes can be transferred from the hard drive to disc at the touch of a button.

A further benefit of the RH200MH is that its intelligent recording system allows the user to record one item whilst watching another. Plus the time-shifting feature means that the viewer is now the TV schedule controller and is in charge of what to watch, as the RH200MH allows viewers to pause and rewind live TV.

The RH200MH also includes LG’s unique ‘super-multi recorder’ system that means it is compatible with all available DVD recording formats: DVD-RAM, DVD+RW/+R, DVD-RW/-R and DVD+R Double Layer. Plus it has a memory card reader for easy download of images from a digital camera, which can then be stored on the hard drive or recorded onto disc. The memory card reader is also compatible with MP3 and WMA files, so music can be downloaded and played through the RH200MH. Thumbnail viewing allows users to easily check titles, chapters, edit and organise. All of these features mean that the viewer has full flexibility of format and the choice of what to watch and listen to, when.
