LSI has announced that it has been named a Best Supplier of 2006 by LG Electronics for the second straight year.

LG Electronics uses LSI DoMiNo DVD
recorder processors for the majority of its award-winning DVD recorders.

LG's award is based on an evaluation of on-time delivery, technology, product quality, performance, service, cost, and responsiveness.

advantage in the worldwide DVD recorder market due in part to the effective integration and superior quality of its technology, as well as its excellent customer service."

The DoMiNo product family consists of DVD recorder processors for entry-level and feature-rich DVD recorder products. Featuring the highest possible video quality for recording and viewing purposes, the DoMiNo processors include proprietary video pre- and post-processing DVFX technologies. DoMiNo processors support not only standard DVD recording and playback using the MPEG-2 format, they also support video encoding in the
MPEG-4 and DivX(R) formats.
