Pioneer is launching two new DVD recorders in Australia - the DVR-550HX-S and DVR-LX60D.

Both come with built-in DVB SD digital tuners and 160 and 250GB of hard drive storage respectively.

Added bonuses are a DV-In port for copying content from camcorders, a USB port transferring files from media devices and PictBridge support for printing.

Playback options are comprehensive to say the least - DVD, CD, SVCD, VCD, DivX, MP3, WMA and JPEG.
